Letter
to the Restaurants Owner
Dear
Proprietor,
My "Better Half" and I
have brought several new patrons to your restaurant in the
past two years. My wife and I always comment on how personable
and completely professional you are. Your upbringing must have
been memorable, as we can tell what nice polite people must
have been in your past. Thank goodness you share "Good Food
& Joy" among the people of Venice at your
restaurant.
In
my haste to share "What a great service you
Provide" the last time we had lunch, "I was impolite by
side-stepping an elderly woman who had just paid her check."
If I would have waited 6 more seconds, you would have
smiled and said "Thank you for coming in today, how was
everything." Instead, you accepted my literature and put it to
the side with very little eye contact with me.
Thank
you for pointing out my impoliteness without embarrassing or
even telling me so. There is much to be learned, over what you
didn't say in words.
My
apology, Mr.Blankinship
